HP1

HP1 (formerly County Squad) swimmers should:

  • Be able to swim 20 x 100 Freestyle in under 1.28.00 average with a turn around time of 2.15.00
  • Be aiming for County and Regional qualifying times
  • Commit to at least three training sessions each week
  • Compete at the highest level for which qualification can be achieved
  • Demonstrate a mature approach to their swimming, both in competition and training, setting a good example to younger or less experienced swimmers.
  • Be very technically competent in all four strokes.
  • HP1 swimmers who have not reached their 11th birthday will not train later than 21.00hrs

9 hrs 30 minutes pool time plus a further 2 hrs if invited to swim at Luton. 3 hrs 50 minutes land training and preparation time.

Your aim should be to use all these hours.
