Take your marks …
Hemel Hempstead Swimming Club ranks as one of Hertfordshire’s premier clubs and currently has around 200 members aged 5 to 65.
The Club can trace its history to 1840, but was formally established in 1913. The Club is a member of Swim England and had the distinction of being the first Club in Hertfordshire to win their Swim 21 accreditation, a kitemark for the development of effective, ethical and sustainable clubs. We are currently accredited as a SwimMark Essential club and in 2013 were appointed as a Disability Assessment Centre.
Our ethos is simply to provide the best support we can to each and every individual swimmer to help them perform to the best of their ability, and achieve the best results they can. We regularly have swimmers competing at the Eastern Region Long and Short Course Championships and in excess of 50 swimmers competing in the Hertfordshire County Age Group Championships.
