A great first weekend of the BAGCAT East Regional Championships 2013 saw some great swimming from the five Swimmers who competed.

Ben Garratt produced two top 8 finishes in the 400 IM (8th) and the 100m Freestyle (7th) as well as 13th place in the 200 Backstroke.

Aimee Abrey had some solid swims with a Personal Best in the 100m Freestyle, she also competed in the 200m IM and 200m freestyle.

Emily Jelfs had a lightning start in the 100 freestyle producing a PB and a top 25 finish in one of the most competitive events.

The girls 4 x 100m Medley Relay Team of Aimee Abrey, Grace Rayner, Megan Pirrie and Emily Jelfs swam to a 13th place finish with some great racing and take overs, all showing great commitment and team spirit.
