Saturday’s programme closes with the exciting Centenary Skins 50m Freestyle event, sponsored for the fourth time by Orchid Estate Agents. The six fastest swimmers from the Boys and Girls 50m Freestyle heats swim against each other over five rounds, each swim taking place at 3 minute intervals. In each round the slowest competitor is eliminated until just two swimmers go head to head. To reward their efforts and to mark our 100th Birthday we have even more Prize Money! The first to go is rewarded with £10, the second £15, up to the winner who this year receives £50. If you’ve never seen a Skins event, why not stay and cheer on your team’s swimmers – it’s great fun! |
