HHSC Seeks New Development Coach

06/08/20140

With over 250 members, HHSC is a thriving and busy Club. The Club strives for long term athlete development by providing an environment in which swimmers can achieve their desired competitive potential, whether that be a local, County, Regional or National level, and fostering a life-long love of swimming that will lead naturally to coaching and/or Masters swimming. Our focus is training to train, training to compete, training to win.

We are a Herts ASA Disability ‘Hub’ Club, welcoming disabled swimmers and offering them a pathway into competitive swimming, and we also run a Swimming Academy with Sportspace, bringing new talent into the Club. We host a number of galas across the year, both internal and open meets and our swimmers regularly take part in swimming leagues and County and Regional competitions.

All of this takes time and effort and we now feel the time has come to expand our paid coaching team. We are therefore seeking to recruit a new Development Coach to work at the junior end of the Club and to support our new Head Coach, Justin Langford. Click here to download the job description.

How to apply:

Email a CV and letter of application or contact HHSC to express an interest and find out more. In addition to a formal interview, shortlisted candidates will be invited to coach swimmers in a trial session. This role was previously advertised in the spring. Closing Date 22nd August.
