| Saturday 30th September saw 9 swimmers go to Harlow for the Bishops Stortford Sprint meet bringing home 6 golds, 5 silvers and 8 bronze medals alongside lots of PBs |  |
Starting in the 9yr girls age group saw Mila Brooke have a fantastic first ever meet with 5 Golds (100IM, 100 Free, 50 Fly, 100 Back, 50 Free) and 1 Silver (50 back) in her 6 events with lots of PB’s.
The 10yr girls saw Mia Maslen Wollington win Gold in the 100 Breast and 2 bronze medals in 100 IM and 50 Back. Caitlin Walters also 10yrs got bronze in the 200 Free and 50 Free.
The 11 yr girls were in a tough large group being represented by Tilly Stratford, Isabella O’Leary and Keren Alderson with Tilly securing a silver in the 50m fly.
Mabel Coldwell in the 12yr old girls won a bronze in the 100IM and 100 Breast and Silver in 50 Breast
Amber Stratford in the 14yr girls came away with a sliver medal in the 50 Breast and Bronze medals in 50 Back, 50 Fly, 100 Breast.
Our lone boy was 12yrs Daniel Keates who came away with a Silver in the 50m Breast.
All the swimmers were a credit to HHSC, we all had an enjoyable day even taking part in the half time dancing!! Thanks to Alan Coldwell and Tracey for being on a very hot poolside.
