Eight club records fell at the final round of the Herts Major League.
Lois Moore beat both her her own records in the girls’ 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle in times of 30.42 and 1.05.89.
Harrison Robb also beat his own record in the 14 years’ 100m backstroke in a time of 1.09.57.
Jamie Keevill went faster than his old 14 years’ 100m breaststroke record in a time of 1.17.39.
Pam Ware was another swimmer to break a record she’d held already, swimming in the Open 100m butterfly in a time of 1.17.36.
Kelsey Doyle broke a record previously set by breaststroke specialist Devon Prior in the 12 year girls’ 100m breaststroke with a time of 1.26.83.
Curtis Barnett replaced Tim Boardman’s name on the record books in the boys 12 years’ 100m butterfly in a time of 1.15.98.
Finally, Katie McLaren broke a record in the girls 15 years’ 50m backstroke which had stood for eight years. Sarah Clout’s record fell at last to McLaren’s time of 34.58.
