Peanuts 2017 – round 2

18/06/20170
Everybody swam really well and worked their hardest in the second round of the Peanuts League. There was great team spirit and everybody should be proud of their performance.

A special mention to Arthur Coldwell and Caitlin Walters who were this round’s Swimmers of the Gala, to Millie Herbert and Natalie Krezel who won their individual races and the girls u12 free relay team and girls u13 medley team who won their relay events which along with 25 second and third places helped secure us third overall.

The u12 girls free team was Natalie Krezel, Izzie Jelfs, Isabella O’Leary and Caitlin Walters, whilst the u13 free medley team was Millie Herbert, Maddison Wiles, Izzie Jelfs and Emily Young.

Individual second places were secured by Mason O’Brien, Daniel Keates, Caitlin Walters, Chloe Hodgkinson, Logan Wiles and Emily Young, whilst relay team seconds were achieved by the boys 9 yr old free and medley team (Matthew Morley, Ryan Kennell, Freddie Turner and Logan Wiles), the girls u11 medley team (Mia Maslen Wollington, Ariyana Abdul-Rahman, Caitlin Walters and Lily Davies), the boys u 12 free team (Mason O’Brien, Finlay Jackson, Samuel Hawes and Zayne Marsden), the girls u13 medley team (Maddison Wiles, Millie Herbert, Emily Young and Natalie Krezel) and the boys u13 free team (Matthieu Perrault, Darshith Biju, Justin Patrick and Daniel Keates).

There were some particularly impressive PBs from Izzie Jelfs (50 back), Logan Wiles (25 back). Ariyana Abdul-Rahman (25 breast – over 2 seconds improvement over 1 length!), Matthew Morley (25 breast – over 3 seconds improvement!), Isabella O’Leary (50 breast – over 2 second improvement) and Zayne Marsden (50 breast – almost a 5 second improvement!).

The rest of the team was Gigi Bruno, Heidi Croucher, Eloise Dixon, Dylan Kitchener, Jenson Lee and Aiden Manning.

Finally thanks to all the parents who came poolside to help of who provided great support from the gallery.
