Hemel Hempstead Swimming Club’s Red Team wrapped up the Division Two third & final round of the Herts Peanuts League on Saturday 15th June.
The club had 32 swimmers competing across the 47 events and pulled out a very credible 4th out of twelve teams competing in Division Two. The whole team put in a tremendous effort and notable swims came from Harrison Newbury-Kemp, Deanna Coe, Mael Jegu, Nicholas Martinez-Wise, Sian Pirrie, Jasmine Coe, Olivia Kerr & Eleanor Bevan who all managed top three finishes in their individual race.
The Girls U11 relay team were also strong with Olivia, Sian & Deanna being joined by team mate Clara Mae Stidever to gain third in their Medley Relay. A special mention must also go to Nell Baughan who competed for team despite having broken her finger a couple of days before.
During this round alone there were an impressive 34 personal best times achieved with 114 PB’s being set by the 48 swimmers that represented the Red Team across the three rounds. Swimmers of the gala were Olivia Kerr & Nicholas Martinez-Wise.
