After the Skill Development Squads comes the Development Squads of Development 1 and Development 2.
The lead coach for these squads is Sarah Young, who is supported by a number of volunteer helpers, the majority of whom are parents of club swimmers or older swimmers. In addition to working poolside during training sessions, coaches also support swimmers at competitions.

Sarah Young Sarah is the Group Lead for the Development Squads. Her daughter swims with the club, and Sarah is an ex-swimmer. She teaches swimming and has achieved the ASA Level 2 award. Sarah is also a regular official for HHSC, having achieved the J2 qualification, and swims with our Masters squad. |

Emily Holland Emily is an ASA level 1 qualified swimming teacher and holds the NRASTC Award She has been a swimmer at the club since 2010 and has assisted with the coaching of the younger swimmers since 2013. Emily currently assists with the coaching of the Junior and Development squads. |

Swimmers who assist with the Development Squads coaching include Jonny, Sonny, Shona, Kyle and Jack James Ball, who has two sons with the club, has also been seen poolside assisting with these squads. |
