Five swimmers represented HHSC at the prestigious ASA East Region Youth Championships.
Devon Prior put in a strong performance in the 200m breaststroke to qualify for the final in which she finished seventh. Swimming at the younger end of the 14/15 age group Devon also succeeded in claiming 12th in the 50m breaststroke and 13th in the 100m event.
Sam Pigott qualified for a number of events. He made the top 20 in the 15/16 50m backstroke. He also claimed 27th and 28th in the 100m and 50m freestyle respectively and 34th in the 50m butterfly.
Adam Daniell managed a very commendable 16th place in the 15/16 50m breaststroke.
Tom Sherriff, 15, came 34th in the 15/16 50m freestyle while fellow Club Captain, Lois Moore, competed in the 50m butterfly and freestyle, finishing in 38th and 45th spot respectively.
Well done to all five swimmers for their achievements at this very high level competition.
