he HHSC Committee is responsible for the smooth running of the Club and its financial affairs, as well as the future strategy of the club. It meets on the second Monday of the month. The committee members are all volunteers and some are parents of swimmers. Swimmers and parents are encouraged to give feedback to Committee members or raise any concerns through them.

If you would like to get involved at committee level, contact the chairperson for more information: Janet Davies chair@hhsc.org.uk

janet   CHAIR: Janet Davies

Janet has two children who swim with HHSC and has been seen regularly on the balcony and poolside at competitions since 2008.  She was elected as Vice Chair in July 2014 and became Chair in 2018 and is hoping to help HHSC become the top club in Hertfordshire.  She passionately believes that the swimmers in the club should be aiming to be the best and fulfil their potential.

dee ward   VICE CHAIR: Dee Ward

Dee has been actively involved in helping out at HHSC since her son started to swim here back in 2014.  She has been responsible for ASA membership for several years and was elected to the position of Vice Chair in 2018.

Dee has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, and is currently the Head of People for a Housing Association.  A firm believer in sport being available to everyone, Dee is looking forward to working with the rest of the Club to ensure we deliver on our vision to develop a life long love of swimming in all.
