18 HHSC swimmers competed at the County Championships across two gruelling but exciting weekends in January, with a total of 96 individual event entries. Special congratulations to first-time competitors Katie W, Lily B, Georgina B, Shane C, Sophie M, Edward R, VivaanS, and Seb T. To be accepted, you need to have achieved a consideration or qualifying time and be ranked in the top 24 in your age group in the County, which is very difficult to achieve.

- Finalists: Many swimmers reached event finals. We were in nearly 50 finals (top 10), including the 200m timed finals.
- Medals: Hemel finished 12th among Hertfordshire clubs with 2 gold, 5 silver, and 11 bronze medals. Won by Luca C

Hemel entered six relay teams in the 15 & under category, delivering outstanding performances and demonstrating incredible team spirit.

Key Results Highlights
Top Performers: Luca, Heidi, and Sebastian secured multiple podium finishes. Amy W made nearly every final for her races.
- Relay Results: Strong showings, including a 5th-place finish in the Mixed 10/15 200m Free relay.
- Notable Mentions: Special recognition to Lily, Georgina, Isla, Heidi, Vivaan, Amy W and Amie R for making their respective finals. Sophie M came 11th and just missed her first final. We are confident she and other first-time qualifiers will reach many more next year!
