The results are in and during 2024 the HHSC Masters who attended the Long Course Nationals at Swansea and the Short Course Nationals at Sheffield, have ranked in the ‘European Masters Swimming Top Ten of 2024‘.

The team secured an impressive EIGHT top ten relay spots, taking a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th and two 10th places against all the relay teams across Europe.

Swimming at the Swansea National Long Course event, the 240+ Mens 4×200 FC and 4×100 Medley relays were Dave Pirrie, Mark Strakosch, Dan Capozzi and Mark Ayres swimming for National Golds on the night and taking the 2nd and 4th fastest times in Europe.
240+ Mixed 4×200 FC relay with Hilary Coulson, Sian McDonald, Mark Ayres and Mark Strakosch, 7th fastest in Europe.
240+ Mens 4×100 FC relay of Mark A, Dave P, Russ Simpson and Dan C swam 10th fastest in Europe.
240+ Mixed 4×100 Medley relay Hilary C, Sian M, Dave P and Mark S taking Silver on the night, 10th fastest in Europe.

Swimming at the Sheffield National Short Course, the 240+ 4×100 Medley relay team of Mark S, Dave P, Dan C and Mark A swam the 3rd fastest in Europe.
240+ Mixed 4×100 FC team of JoJo Lee-Pearce, Mark S, Dave P and Sian M finished 8th fastest in Europe.                          240+ Mens 4×100 FC relay team of Dan C, Dave P, Mark S and Mark A took the 9th fastest spot in Europe.
