On Saturday 14th September, Matt Rafiq-Craske and Hilary Coulson ended the Open Water season by swimming the Half Marathon at The Royal Albert Docks in The Dock2Dock 5K event.

With a water temp of 16c it was a lot cooler than last year, however, both swam new PB’s. Matts time improved by 8 minutes and secured 5th place whilst Hilary’s time improved by 3 minutes securing 1st place in their respective age groups. Training can continue through the winter, as EA will be running cold water swimming in the outdoor pool from October.
