At the weekend, Hemel Masters Shane & Hilary Coulson travelled to Rother Valley, South Yorkshire to compete in Swim Englands National Open Water Championship. Both swimming the 3K ,Shane (30-34 age group) won Gold with a new PB of 49.19. Hilary (55-59 years) just missed out on Bronze by 6 seconds to take fourth place, with a PB of 55.50.
On Saturday, Hilary also swam the Henley Club to Pub Thames swim (500 upstream, 1k downstream). She finished in 6th place just 58 seconds behind first place.
A big well done to Hilary and Shane for their amazing achievements.
